How the Job Pool Works
Unlike a traditional Part Time job, Our job pool has very unique features and benefits. Let's get the most important thing out of the way first, and that is at no time will you work full time or be asked to work when you don't want to. For some people this is great news, for others, this may take a little while getting used to. But our pool is designed to get you the most benefits out of working when you want to. From time to time however, we may request your assistance outside of your submitted schedule times. This is usually a last resort.
Our staff is generally happy with their assignments and in some cases, a few people have been offered full time opportunities. There are some restrictions and rules when offered fulltime employment. This does not affect the contractor (You), however, Clients may be required to pay a Finders Fee to Heather Elliott Services. Please see your Heather Elliott Services representative to discuss this possibility. Heather Elliott Services is not an Employment Agency. We are comprised of Contractors like you who fulfill multiple assignments one at a time on an On-Call basis.
Employment Tiers
The Job Pool works the same way for everybody-every different levels of employee. Whether you are an On-Call Personal Assistant to a Celebrity visiting town or the On-Call Housekeeper who is required to do three hours of house cleaning, the benefits and features of our Real Tme Service Responses are of equal opportunity to all involved.
On-Call Status
Working On-Call simply means "working when the needs arises", for Clients, this is a quick time service response that can be rendered whenever they request it. This means that you may be called on your available days to fulfill these jobs. For example, if you have indicated that Thursdays and Sundays are open for the job pool, we will match your dates with clients that require the services you offer on the days that you are available. It is certainly not unusal to be placed with multiple clients in one day.
It is very important that our Contractors understand that being in the job pool does not entitle you to mutiple or frequent rotation. You will be called when a job is available that matches your skills and availability. We like to term this way of working, 'extra income in your spare time'!
